deepc Integrates FDA-Cleared Spine MRI AI from Remedy Logic into deepcOS®

Bringing automated lumbar spine MRI analysis and reporting directly into PACS environments through centralized AI infrastructure.

Lumbar spine MRI is among the most time-intensive and frequently performed examinations in radiology. Interpretation requires detailed level-by-level assessment, consistent measurements, and structured documentation. As imaging demand increases, maintaining efficiency and uniform reporting standards across readers becomes more complex for departments managing large study volumes.

deepc is integrating Remedy Logic’s FDA-cleared solution into deepcOS® to address this need.

Developed by U.S. radiologists and spine surgeons, RAI is designed as an AI co-pilot for lumbar spine MRI interpretation. The solution automatically detects and labels anatomical landmarks, performs more than 80 clinical predictions, and identifies pathologies including disc extrusions, spinal stenosis, and nerve root compressions. For each study, RAI generates annotated images and a structured report ready for radiologist review in under two minutes, directly within the existing PACS environment.

This approach shifts the radiologist’s role from manual interpretation and report drafting to structured review and confirmation. Radiologists retain full control over final interpretation while benefiting from consistent, pre-structured analysis that supports reliable comparison in follow-up examinations.

RAI is FDA cleared, with CE marking in progress, and has been validated across more than 100 facilities and institutions worldwide. Its subspecialty focus, regulatory clearance, and demonstrated technical compatibility were key considerations in deepc’s decision to integrate the solution into its portfolio.

Lumbar spine MRI is a labor-intensive domain where structured automation can provide meaningful workflow support. Through this integration, radiology departments gain access to dedicated spine expertise embedded within their existing reading processes, without introducing separate applications or parallel systems.

The collaboration combines Remedy Logic’s focused spine imaging expertise with deepc’s experience in enabling scalable deployment of AI solutions across clinical settings, supporting broader adoption while maintaining institutional oversight.
