In this RSNA 2023 interview with The Imaging Wire, deepc’s Head of Product, Arno Koldewee, and Dr. Jorge Cardoso of King’s College London discuss how deepcOS® helps hospitals adopt radiology AI in a scalable, safe and vendor-neutral way. They explain how the platform standardizes procurement, integration, security and privacy into a single connection to the hospital IT environment, allowing institutions to evaluate and deploy multiple AI solutions for the same use case on their own data before going live.
The conversation also highlights deepc’s collaboration with King’s College London to advance the next phase of AI in medical imaging, including AI safety, trustworthy deployment and the interface between research and clinical practice. As part of this, deepc announced MONAI MAP compatibility, enabling researchers to bring their MONAI-based algorithms into clinical environments via deepcOS®. Looking ahead, deepc’s focus on real-world performance monitoring and a future in which AI marketplaces can select the most appropriate algorithm for each patient profile, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, is outlined.
